Pastor Darrell Wilson started Proclaiming Christ Church in 2011, along with his older brother, Rev. Gerald Wilson and long time friend and Community Advocate, Evangelist Ivene Thompson. Proclaiming Christ Church is focused on "Proclaiming the Love of Christ Through Service."

Pastor Darrell has a heart for the people in the community and makes it a point to let them know that God has not forgotten them. He shares his testimony with anyone because he understands that we all have made mistakes and only God himself is perfect. Being the son of the late Pastor Eugene & 1st Lady Pauline Wilson, he knows for himself that people cannot change people, that's only something God can do.

After attending a Monday night bible study class in 1989 and being welcomed with open arms and hearts, Pastor Darrell gave his life to the Lord and never looked back.

He and Lady Michele have been married for over 30 years and have 4 children;

April, Dexter, Doria and Marise.

In addition to serving as leader of the Education Department, Rev. Gerald is also the older brother of Pastor Darrell. Sharing his wisdom and knowledge of God whenever needed, Rev. Gerald has been preaching and teaching for over 26 years. He and Sis Lea have been married for over 40 years and enjoy sharing their stories with young couples along the way. She trusts the Lord with every detail and shares with others that God will always come through. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.

Evangelist Ivene is a mighty woman of God that believes in doing everything as unto the Lord with a "Spirit of Excellence". She motivates others to believe as long as you put works in action with faith you can have more and do better in life. Her husband Deacon Jessew as a true example of what it meant to be "slow to speak and quick to hear." He was a wise man that loves God and wasn't afraid to show it. Over the years they have exemplified the true meaning of love by having an "Open Door" to several families in need.
